Our home is in Kimberley, South Africa. We thank God for providing a home large enough to be used in ministry: We have opened a Resource Centre in one room of our home, as well as holding Sunday evening fellowship services (with a view to a possible church plant) in our home. We have a guest room that has been used a few times, but we'd love to have YOU drop by! We have lovely flowers and fruit trees (seasonal!) in our yard. We love it!
This
living room transforms into a "meeting hall" for Sunday evening fellowship
services.
We have opened the Ambassadors Resource Centre in our home! It's a lending library, a place where people can come and study, talk, counsel, or whatever. We hope that the churches of Kimberley will use the many resources we have there to learn and grow in their walk with our Lord.
We enjoy using our home for ministry, whether it's welcoming people
into the Resource Centre, or having young people or others over for a meal.
This was Christmas 2007 when we enjoyed sharing the Christmas meal
with some special young people.

One of the main ministries we have is teaching Life Orientation classes to young people in schools, youth groups, Children's homes, or wherever we can! We love this ministry God has given us, teaching young people GOD's design for how to make their lives a WHOLE lot happier and healthier! We are allowed to teach openly about God and Jesus in many of the L.O. classes, and some have led to Bible studies or being able to share the Gospel with students. This has also led to some great counselling sessions. Though there have been young people who have heard the message and still gone their own way, we are thankful for those who have made the decision to "Decide to Decide Right" (one of our main slogans for our classes.)
Whether
with sharing a laugh, having the students memorize Scripture, or with a game or
illustration, we try to get the message of purity across to our students.

DECIDE
to DECIDE RIGHT!!!!
We have opportunities to counsel with young people about problems that concern them.
God has also given us some limited opportunities to teach TEACHERS in Life Orientation. We desire to do this more. Please pray for wisdom in how to go about doing more teacher training.
We are reminded so often that funerals and gravestone makers are growing businesses here in South Africa. Death is certain for all unless our Lord comes. We want to be busy helping to lower some of the death statistics, and want to do all we can, within His will, until He calls us Home.
