Ryan Allynn Einfeldt -- Birthday: 19 June 1980
Rachel Elizabeth (née Ekstrand) Einfeldt - Birthday 22 July 1984

Ryan's first several years in missions were quite an introduction!  Two evacuations from Côte d'Ivoire, moving schools and countries every year, seeking God's leading and changing missions to accommodate his being in a country where the first mission had no presence -- this was his first few years in missions.  After much research into international and mission schools, in April 2005 Ryan visited Rain Forest International School in Yaoundé, Cameroon, to see if that was where God might be leading him to serve.  It became obvious to all watching this process that God had very clearly led him to this ministry.  He enjoyed getting involved in campus life at RFIS.  He not only taught Grades 7 & 8 music, but also led the two choirs and taught private music lessons.  Ryan taught a small group Bible study and was a staff sponsor for one of the classes and for the Running Club.  He  often translated French-English in a new church near his home.  His second year there, he met a fellow staff member [also an "MK!"] who went to RFIS for a one-year commitment -- Rachel Ekstrand and Ryan married on 29 June 2007 near Pocahontas, Iowa.  We're excited to have gained a daughter -- our first!  After a honeymoon to Florida and a few more days in Switzerland, they returned for another year of teaching at RFIS, this time together!  Rachel taught Middle School Bible and Algebra, as well as working in the office.  They finished the school year the first week of June 2008 and returned to the USA.  They will be living in Chicago, IL.  PRAY for them as they begin this new phase in their lives and ministries together and seek God's leading for their future.

Ryan and Rachel were married on 29 June 2007 at a church between Pomeroy and Pocahontas, Iowa.  They honeymooned first in Florida and then in Switzerland on their return trip to Cameroon.

Kurt Andrew Einfeldt -- Birthday: 12 July 1983

Kurt is living in a home he purchased in Cheraw, South Carolina (about 3½ hours’ drive east from Sonia’s family who live in western SC).  Since his arrival in Cheraw, he has worked at a pharmacy, in the hospital equipment section (ordering, delivering, repairing, maintaining).   He has helped keep the pharmacy's computer network operational.  He will soon be leaving that employment to pursue some other projects.  Kurt is a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Cheraw, and enjoys serving the Lord there.  Kurt has been working on a website for a mission that builds hospitals in remote areas of Africa.  When it's ready, we'll include the link!
